Our X-Lock thru axles have always been a bestseller among competitive cyclists and enthusiast riders who want to save weight and specially customize their bicycle.

Several MTB teams and champions have been using ultralight Carbon-Ti wheel axles in the most renowned international competitions: cross country or marathon world cup trials and stressful stage races such as the Cape Epic have been their most important test bench for years.

10 years later, our axles range has been updated with the new X-Lock EVO models.

Their shape has been optimized while maintaining similar aspects to previous versions style: now it features a reduced profile head and an optimized variable thickness shape.

All models are equipped with a 6 mm hexagonal key instead of the previous 5 mm (thru where possible), to make an even more practical and safe tightening.

The MTB models with 15 mm diameter do not require the washer, while the models with a diameter of 12 mm are available with a flat base head and a nylon washer or with an integrated conical base in aluminum and anti-slip system.

From the aesthetic point of view, an additional color has been introduced to match the finishing with other Carbon-Ti products (such as hubs and seat post clamps). Each thru axle is now available in matte black besides the seven existing colors: black, red, gold, blue, silver, green and acid green.

The laser engraved graphics have been updated with the new logo and the dimensional references of the axle.

They are available in 22 different models for MTB, racing, or gravel bikes: 8 front for forks and 14 rear for frames. MTB suspension fork models are made for Fox Boost (155mm), RockShox Boost (158mm), and for the new MY2021 RockShox Sid Boost that needs a shorter 148mm axle.

They are available in 22 different models for MTB, racing, or gravel bikes: 8 front for forks and 14 rear for frames.

From this year, also the Scott Addict RC and all the most recent Colnago like the V3Rs and the C64 can count on specific models that allow a substantial weight reduction compared to the original component.

On the specific webpages of the models, there are lists indicating the known bike's compatibility. If the customer's bicycle is not mentioned, it is possible to verify which model is suitable.

It is necessary to check the shape of the head, the overall length, and the type of thread (M12x1, M12x1.5 and M12x1.75) comparing it with the mounted standard via comparative tables with all dimensional drawings.

Our X-Lock EVO axles, like all other Carbon-Ti products, are proudly 100% made in Italy.
